One of the biggest
advantages that TCS can offer with their computers systems is unsurpassed
service. No phone calls to 800 numbers where you sit on hold for 2 hours
just to be told that the problem you are experiencing is not their
problem! We pride ourselves in our product and even more on the service
we supply with every system we sell. If you want to feel at ease when it
comes to your computer, and like knowing that the company that manufactured it
is minutes away, then the extended service plans are for you. We do not
subcontract companies that are familiar with computers in general to perform
our work. The individual technicians that build and service our PC's on a
daily basis are available to you throughout the school year. All our PC's
come with the first year of on-campus support but beyond that first year, in
order to remain competitively priced and to not outsource our service, we offer
extended service plans. TCS also covers repair issues that are relative
to WPI ResNet software problems. Realize that
if you experience a software problem with a non-TCS PC on campus, your only
support structure is the WPI Help Desk, which can be overwhelmed at times and
provides software support as a service, not because they have to.
On-Site repair includes a 1 Mile radius from campus to cover all dorms, Fraternities, Sororities, and the normal apartment locale for the WPI population.
