As President of Technical
Computer Solutions, Inc. and a WPI alumnus I would like to introduce myself and
possibly help you with your computer needs in the years ahead. Last year, in
conjuction with Tatnuck Booksellers @ WPI, TCS setup a co-location within the
bookstore called TCS3 @ WPI. This location served the needs of the WPI
student community. We continue this relationship in 2005 and look forward to
providing exceptional service and product.
Many
departments on campus are equipped with TCS brand personal computers. We offer
the same quality systems to all WPI students with many warranty options. These
warrantees cover all computer related issues, both hardware and software
while the machine remains within 5 miles of campus. The basic philosophy
of TCS is that support and service come first and customer satisfaction is the
top priority.
We
aim to provide a product that is logical, economical, and high quality. We
piece together our machines from industry standard components allowing us to
support our products with the manufacturer backing the warranty of the
components used. Unlike our mail order counterparts, the pieces within a
TCS3 computer have a warranty from the manufacturer whether it is a
part from Intel, Western Digital, Sony, or IBM. With this warranty, you
are truly protected, and you have TCS3 to answer your support needs,
not some 800 number with a recording telling you how many minutes or hours you
need to wait to speak to a technician.
Our
commitment to the WPI community is both professional and personal. Having
traversed the path of a student with four 7-Week terms, I understand that when
a machine is experiencing problems on day 32 of a term, there is absolutely no
time for sitting on hold. We cater to the students in a manner that is
conducive to fostering the ability to get work done and not having to worry
about computer problems. We hear every year from parents who are
astounded at what a difference we have made to their son or daughter’s
first year experience and quite often hear back from that son or daughter four
years later, thanking us, and looking for a new system.
I hope that I can be of assistance if you have any computing questions the future. Please visit our web site at http://www.tcs3.com/education, email me personally at aegdall@tcs3.com, or call our office at (508) 792-3300 or toll free at (888) 399-TCS3.
Sincerely,
Adam
